I'll catch you up on my recent events. My trip to Dortmund was quick and maybe slightly dangerous. I went online to find someone driving to Dortmund and saves 25 euro by doing so. I took my chances with the crazy lady. She talked a lot and only looked at the highway 50% of the time. The man in the passenger seat quickly grabbed the door handle and held on for dear life as we just about collide with a truck. ops. Jan met me there So I wouldn't have to find his apartment in the dark. We drank some wine and played old school Nintendo. Dortmund was a terribly industrialized city and not worth visiting.

After I questioned why the hell I was staying there(which unfortunately took me 4 days)I realized mistake and immediately took the first train to Bonn. Sarah and Sebastian (the newly weds) took me in and were extremely hospitable. Sarah took me out to lunch and showed me around town. Sebastian helped me with trains and such. I had half an our to catch my train to the airport and Sebastian insisted that I eat lunch. So we inhaled lunch and had to run to the train station. My train was already there when we arrived and I still had to print a ticket Sebastian told me to get in the train. so I did. He ran to the train threw me my bag and ticket and gave me a hug as the doors were closing. It was the most thrilling good bey I ever had. haha.

I stopped in cologne to see the cathedral on my way to Wheeze. It was Beautiful and massive. The largest in the world I was told. After my hour was up I hopped on another train to Dusseldorf where I had 6 minutes to catch my next train. I jumped aboard and the door closed right behind me. Yet another close call. I got to Weeze and had 5 minutes to catch the bus. In time again!. Then to the airport where I boarded a 40 minute flight to London. The woman at customs had lots of time and decided to use it to hassle me. I had 15 minutes to catch the bus. She wanted to know why I wasn't in school, how my parents met, why we moved why I was born in Germany why was I in Germany, Why was my hair brown why was my shirt green etc.I luckily made the buss and exhaled and was relieved that that was my last mode of transportation for the day Yipppi. Kalyn greeted me at the post office on old Harlow road and we went to the pub for a pint Where we met some of her friends.

My first day in London consisted of a morning venture through the streets and a an afternoon at the theater watching the musical "Les Miserables" It was a lovely theater, dome shaped and painted ceilings. After the show We had dinner at an Italian restaurant. Every bar we went to was full to the door. The food wasn't so great but the Service was superb. waiters coming from every direction one with forks one with knives another with a bread basket and butter. Even though to food wasn't so great I have to say that the terimissu was the best I've ever had.
Now we are attempting to find some hostels in Amsterdam but no luck every one is full or a a required 3 nights have to be spent there. Looks like park benches?..
Enjoy the pictures There will be more.
